Official launch of the Innovate Dementia project
On 24th of September 2012, the project ‘Innovate Dementia’ has been launched. This launch of the European project took place during the AAL forum 2012, the place to be with regard to Ambient Assisted Living. AAL stands for stimulating active and healthy ageing with the support of innovative, ICT-based products. It aims to create better quality of life, independent living and participation in society for older persons.
The project Innovate Dementia was officially presented at the AAL Forum in the track ‘Active and Healthy Ageing: Innovate Dementia’.
Every year, the AAL Forum is organised in a different European country. The fourth AAL Forum took place from 24 – 27 September 2012 in the Evoluon in Eindhoven. The Forum was organised by the AAL Programme and the Dutch Ministry of Health together with Smart Homes, the Province of North-Brabant, Brainport Development and the Municipality of Eindhoven.
